Agile manufacturing is a new manufacturing mode that improves the competitiveness of enterprises in the way of "Competition Cooperation (collaboration)" and realizes flexible and rapid response to market demand. This mode requires enterprises to adopt modern communication technology, organize new product development in the form of Agile Dynamic Optimization, and integrate through dynamic alliance, advanced flexible production technology and the comprehensive adjustment of high-quality personnel through the parameter setting in the software, Quickly respond to customer needs, timely deliver new products and put them into the market, so as to win competitive advantage. The connotation of agile manufacturing is that enterprises can meet the market demand to the greatest extent, adapt to the competitive situation and obtain long-term economic benefits through the integration with users and partners in a larger range and to a higher degree. Through the simple analysis of agile manufacturing from the three aspects of market, enterprise capability and partners, it is not difficult to understand some characteristics of agile manufacturing. (1) The focus of agile manufacturing is to quickly respond to the needs of the market. The general development trend of the future product market is diversification and personalization. The traditional mass production method can no longer meet the rapidly changing market demand. At present, the manufacturing industry shows a trend from economies of scale to variety economy. The starting point of agile manufacturing is to consider the first question when comprehensively analyzing products and markets: who are the users? What are users' needs? Is it worthwhile for enterprises to respond quickly to the market? Can enterprises make profits if they respond quickly? It can be seen that the focus of agile manufacturing is to quickly respond to market demand, make product design, development, production and other work carried out in parallel, and quickly design and manufacture high-quality new products to meet the continuously improving requirements of users. To implement agile manufacturing, enterprises must constantly improve their own capabilities and realize the comprehensive and coordinated integration of technology, management and personnel. Among them, the most critical factor is the adaptability of enterprises. In the complex business environment, agile enterprises can quickly and flexibly respond to market and user needs with the fastest speed, the best quality and the lowest cost, so as to win the competition. (3) Agile manufacturing emphasizes "Competition Cooperation (collaboration)" and adopts a flexible and dynamic organizational structure. The rapidly changing competitive environment requires enterprises to respond quickly. In order to win competitive advantage, it is necessary to change the static and unchanging organizational structure based on fixed professional departments in the past, and select the advantageous parts of designing and manufacturing the product from some departments within the enterprise and different companies outside the enterprise at the fastest speed, Form a single business entity. It can be said that agile manufacturing is a new manufacturing organization model, which represents the development direction of manufacturing industry in the 21st century. (1) The development of the United States after the concept of agile manufacturing was put forward by the Iacocca Institute of Caspian University in 1991, it received active support from the government, industry and academic groups. In 1992, the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the U.S. Department of defense and the National Natural Science Foundation (NSF) invested $5million to establish the Agile Manufacturing Enterprise Association (amef), which is now the agility forum. The association organizes discussions on the theory and practice of agile manufacturing, and holds an International Conference on agile manufacturing every year. At present, about 250 companies and organizations have participated in the relevant work of the association. Most companies and enterprises have sent representatives to participate in working groups in different fields. These groups hold six or seven seminars every year to jointly study the problem of agility in this field. It is reported that the U.S. Department of energy has invested $15million in the Missouri plant in Kansas City to establish an integrated manufacturing system for the development of agile manufacturing technology useful to American industry.
